Aviators Run Comes to End With 11-2 Loss to Lake

Alliance, OH- The Alliance Aviators 2025 season came to an end Tuesday afternoon at the hands of the Lake Blue Streaks in the D3 Region 9 District Semifinal. The Aviators, coming off a 3-1 victory over the Louisville Leopards in the Sectional welcomed the Blue Streaks who advanced following a 20-0 victory over Garfield Heights.

The offensive surge carried over for the visitors, as they plated 11 on the afternoon. It was Anderson Alacchi leading the way, with 2 home runs, including a 6th inning grand slam to put the game away for good. Ty DeGeorge pitched in 4 RBI on a 2/4 afternoon in the lead-off spot.

The Aviators had their best inning at the plate in the 3rd, when Kam Burton led off the inning with a double. Michael Blackwell followed Burton with an RBI triple to the right center field gap. Blackwell scampered home on a gorunder to third off the bat of Brady White, sliding under the tag to cut the Lake lead to 3-2 at the time.

The Blue Streaks advance to take on Wooster Thursday afternoon at Thurman Munson Stadium in the District Final.
