Streetsboro tops Southeast 2-0 behind freshman Graham Jonas complete game shutout
STREETSBORO, OH- It was a chilly but sunny day in Streetsboro on Saturday as the Rockets took on the Southeast Pirates in a matchup of Portage County squads. This was a makeup date for the rainout the night before. Both teams came into this season with high expectations. The Rockets would prevail 2-0 as freshman starting pitcher Graham Jonas tossed a 5-hit shutout aided by some nice defense behind him.
Jonas would allow a Cohen Richardson double but no damage in the 1st as he picked up his first strikeout of the game.
