Field Falls to Ellet in Flag Football Action 25-13

Canton, OH- The Field Falcons have reached the home stretch of their inaugural season. Taking on Ellet at Crenshaw Middle School in Canton Sunday afternoon, the Lady Falcons fell 25-13.

On the game’s first play, Freshman Quarterback Paige Eldreth found Senior Morgan Stoiciou down the left sideline on a streak route that Stoiciou got behind the defender and hauled in before taking it all the way to pay dirt. Unfortunately for the Falcons, that was one of the lone bright spots on offense for the day. A stiff wind blew pass attempts off target, but the offense played turnover-free football.

On the defensive side, the Ellet offense presented a tall task. Leading the Falcons defense was Brooklyn Marchette, who had multiple pass breakups throughout the afternoon. The Falcons' first season culminates next Sunday as they take on Our Lady of the Elms at Ellet.
